刘吉开，男，1962年11月出生，博士，二级教授；安徽中医药大学校级领军人才，中药学博士生导师，药物化学硕士点导师；国家杰出青年基金获得者，973项目首席科学家；以第一作者或通讯作者发表国内外学术论文500余篇，获得国内外授权专利30余项；曾主持973项目、国家科技支撑计划、国家基金委重点项目、国际合作项目等国家级项目20余项；主要研究方向：中药和真菌的天然产物化学、药物化学生物学、合成生物学等。
